PlanIT is committed to abiding by the obligations emplaced by the Integrated Accessibility Standards of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (“AODA”). PlanIT pledges to provide a safe, dignified and welcoming environment and services that are accessible to people with disabilities.

Feedback Processes

PlanIT will ensure that there are always alternative feedback processes that are accessible to people with disabilities upon request. All feedback and complaints will be directed to the Administrative Department at info@planitsearch.com. Customers can expect to hear back in 5 business days.

Communication and Accessibility Information

PlanIT, upon request, will provide documents related to accessible customer service in an accessible format or with communication support. We will consult with the person making the request to determine the suitability of the format or communication support. We will provide an accessible format in a timely manner and, at no additional cost.

PlanIT will individualize its’ services and way of communication upon request when it is required based on an employee’s or customers have known accommodation needs. We are committed to providing employees, customers, and clients with publicly available emergency information in an accessible format and with appropriate communications support. When requested, we will consult with the person with disabilities to determine his or her information and communication needs.

Employee Recruitment
PlanIT’s “employees”, including regular employees, temporary workers, assigned resources, interns and volunteers are to be equipped with the required training and provide services that meet the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner. PlanIT will do so by preventing and removing barriers to accessibility and meeting the accessibility requirements under the AODA.

PlanIT employees when executing the recruitment process, they will ensure that the processes are equally accessible to applicants and candidates with disabilities. Public Spaces: Design, Services Animals and Support Person

PlanIT will meet the Accessibility Standards for the Design of Public Spaces when making major modifications to public spaces. PlanIT as a service based business, when speaking of public spaces; it is referring to spaces that include only service-related elements like reception areas. PlanIT will constantly review any barriers that might be presented and will communicate disruptions to the accessibility of its public spaces.

PlanIT welcomes people with disabilities and their service animals. Service animals are allowed on the parts of our premises that are open to the public. People that are accompanied by a support person will never be charged an extra fee.

Temporary Disruption

In the event of a planned or unexpected disruption to services or facilities for customers with disabilities, PlanIT will notify customers promptly. This clearly posted notice will include information about the reason for the disruption, its anticipated length of time, and a description of alternative facilities or services, if available.
